With increasing airflow rates driven by regulation around energy efficiency, indoor air quality and overheating, the performance requirements of residential ventilation systems such as MVHR are increasing. Pinnacle HVAC Solutions have launched two new products that help simplify compliance for system design - focusing on application in a standard ceiling void, reduce duct cross overs and overall reduced costs.
The ResiBRICK™ Range
A1 Non Combustible Airbrick & Ducting Transition Kits
- Brick Size Kit for Seamless Integration
ResiBRICK™ replicates traditional brick dimensions to deliver clean, uniform airflow transitions optimised for facades and modern aesthetics. Available with and without picture frame in a range of 5 standard RAL colours
- Unique Mechanical Fixing
A unique fastening mechanism enables secure installation without the need for perishable mortar or adhesives, ideal for performance, critical environments.
- Largest Free Airflow Area Available
Designed specifically for MVHR systems, The ResiBRICK™ range offers one of the highest-performing free areas products (the Quad), ensuring maximum ventilation capacity where overheating and air quality standards demand high flow rates from the system
- One Kit - One Supplier: 5 Brick Sizes and 11 Duct Transitions
ResiBRICK consists an airbrick and 600mm duct transition, supplied as a kit, and available for 1st and 2nd fixes within the construction cycle. Circular and rectangle duct connections available from 204x60 to 400x125mm and up to 250mm are available
- Perfect Match for ResiDUCT™
ResiBRICK™ integrates directly with Pinnacle’s ResiDUCT™ system, a low-profile, high-volume metal ducting solutions - creatinga simplified opion for compliance with Part B, F, and O
“ResiBRICK™ fills a crucial gap for high performance, compliant ventilation installs,” said Adam Greenwood, General Manager at Pinnacle.
“It combines the ease of brick-sized installation with superior airflow and A1 fire safety, a regulatory requirement in the UK for high rise buildings. With the growth of ResiDUCT™, the need for large free area terminations has increased. The Triple and Quad offer high free area performance from a single, off the shelf product, unlike anything else available."

The ResiDUCT™ Range
Low Profile, High Performance Ducting designed to fit in a standard ceilng void
- Made in the UK & Independently Tested: Designed and fabricated in the UK, with airflow performance tested by BSRIA
Four Optimized Sizes: 300×100 mm, 300×125 mm, 400×100 mm, and 400×125 mm - each delivering high airflow performance equivalent to 180–230 mm circular ducting
- Engineered for Part O Compliance: Developed in direct response to Approved Document O’s overheating ventilation rates, ResiDUCT™ enables higher MVHR airflow without sacrificing space in the void
- Hybrid Ready: Where increased ventilation rates are required to meet overheating planning conditions, a cost effective ducting design is being adopted for MVHR systems where both metal and PVC are designed to work together to strike a balance between flexibility, cost and performance.
- Reducing Air Leakage: With focus on installed performance, unique socket-seal joints and integral stiffeners, unique to ResiDUCT™ help ensure seamless connections as parts are pushed together. An independent air leakage test showed a 52% reduction in air leakage, 34% lower MVHR fan speeds required, and up to 40% project cost savings compared to standard ductwork.

“ResiDUCT™ meets the unique needs of modern residential ventilation—high airflow, limited space, and airtight integrity—all while maintaining UK manufacturing quality,” said Michelle Sharp Head of Marketing at Pinnacle HVAC Solutions.
With increased airflow rates, often almost half again required to combat overheating, the MVHR units themselves need to provide more performance – but that is only half the story – the ducting needs to accommodate the increased flow rates too – and no-one want to have to accommodate ducting which is larger than a typical ceiling void, or double up on runs – double the cost, double the amount of insulation, double the time to install!
ResiDUCT™ is engineered to deliver ventilation excellence in tight spaces. Download the technical brochure or reach out for project-specific support.
