Alperton Bus Garage, North London MVHR installation at scale with Overheating planning conditions

HRV Group delivered 460 MVHR installations across the site. The overheating conditions demanded higher airflows than a standard ducting configuration could achieve so we worked with a hybrid ducting design including PVC and metal.

ResiDUCT™ low profile 300 x 100mm metal ductwork — equivalent to 180mm diameter — provided the airflow performance needed to satisfy planning, while PVC 220 x 90mm ductwork was used throughout the wider system. Where ductwork terminated through the building facade, A1 non-combustible rated ductwork met fire compliance requirements without compromise.
